The intention is to recreate some of the layers found in a mature local woodland while using very little land.
Supporters argue that dense planting encourages rapid early growth and creates shelter for insects and birds. Small European studies have recorded more species in some micro-forests than in nearby lawns. Yet researchers caution that results vary with climate, soil preparation, and long-term maintenance. A young project should not be treated as a substitute for protecting an established ecosystem.
For planners, the strongest case may be practical rather than dramatic. Micro-forests can cool a hard-surfaced neighbourhood, absorb some rainwater, and bring daily contact with nature closer to residents. Their value lies in complementing larger green spaces, not replacing them.

No. A reliable band estimate needs a full, properly calibrated test. The sample reports a readiness level so you can identify a sensible training priority without false precision.
Alternate short accuracy drills with progressively longer timed passages. Review the evidence for every wrong answer, then track whether the cause was vocabulary, location, interpretation, or time pressure.
